With over 30 years of leadership experience, Stephen brings a wealth of expertise from his career with Virginia Correctional Enterprises, a division of the Department of Corrections. Beginning as a foreman, he advanced to Operations Manager, where he managed a $20 million budget and led a team of over 60 employees. A core part of his role involved training inmates in trade skills, equipping them for successful reintegration into society.

After retiring, Stephen transitioned his extensive operational knowledge and attention to detail into the field of bookkeeping, delivering precise and reliable financial management services to his clients. His hands-on approach ensures that every financial detail is managed with accuracy, giving his clients peace of mind and confidence in their financial records.

His responsibilities include:

• Recording transactions using accounting software and other tools
• Collecting and organizing financial records, including invoices, payments, and bank statements
• Reconciling bank statements and financial documents
• Preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and profit/loss statements, to aid decision-making

Originally from New York, Stephen has called Virginia home since 1989. He and his wife, Becky, have been happily married for over 38 years. Together, they have two sons, a daughter, and three grandsons who bring joy to their lives.
